Heide e.V. Döckingen
The Heide e.V. Döckingen was funded by the Gmoahaus Döckingen youth which organized the "Die Heide Raucht" festival for the first time in 1999; using however a different name.
Since then, the organization tries to keep the cultural scene running. This is only possible because of the countless volunteers supporting all the different events throughout the year. The most famoust one would be the 3 day open-air festival "Die Heide Raucht", which gives regional newcomer a stage and live experience.
To support the local culture, there are more events throughout the year. Like the „gepflegte Abendkultur“ (cultivated evening culture), the „Traditionelle Maibaumaufstellen“ (put up the traditional May-tree), concerts and the support of the local Christmas market and village fair.
